happy mudder's day

I love mother's day.
it makes me so happy that all the wonderful mothers are able to get recognized for all their hard work.

we always have a big dinner, and we decided to have a[n involuntary] photo shoot .
oh, we took pictures of our eyes to, ya know, look at them.

enjoy!

everything is alright.

people.
have no fear.
i am alive. kind of.  and doin' great.
-finals are over; i'm officially a sophomore in college, waaaiiit whhattt? i know. it doesn't really flow off the tongue. maybe one day it will.
-they [finals] came knocking on my door, & then showed me who was boss.
but i survived, and all is well.
-i'm home for the summer, kickin' it with the fam bam.
except the fact that I will be working 2 (possibly 3) jobs.
guys: it's fine... no one is home anyway. mission here, engagement there.
-i'm planning on reading a ton of books, and watching a lot of netflix.
judge me.
-remember this? well. i'm an AWFUL blog challenge follower.
so i make up my own rules.
that means I can skip a month if i so please.
-day thirteen: a song that reminds you of a former friend
I have lots of former friends. but one in particular is extremely special.
Mckenzie May Lott. yup. elementary best friends.
no but really, we were convinced we were sisters separated at birth.
we had every single class, 1st through 5th together, & there wasn't a day we didn't spend together.
jr. high came & we stayed friends, we just never played. same with high school.
but she's back in utah & we rekindled our love  friendship yesterday over dinner at costa vida.

we have too many memories to count,
but in elementary school we did the talent show almost every year.
2nd grade we actually made it to the final, and performed for the entire elementary school.
i sang, she danced a long.
it was spectacular really, & in all honesty, i wish i had a video to watch our oscar-worthy performance.

follow me, by uncle cracker
