hours of practice, for three minutes on the floor

today...
today is the day I compete with 24 of my sisters, && 2 of my brothers.
it's my senior year, and it seems like just yesterday I was trying out as a sophomore. cliche, I know, but nevertheless. the time has come.
gymnastics for seven years.
all stars for three.
high school for three.
it seems like my whole life has been preparing me for this single moment, and that moment I now. my team/family, has given everything for this routine, and we are ready...

to my "family"
ambition: a strong desire for success.
blood, sweat, and tears have gone into this routine. each girl (&boy) has pushed themselves to the point of exhaustion and injury. we have invested so much into this routine.
we have had ambition in our hearts and on our minds as we practiced this routine 1000s of times. let's go out there and show the world that although we have had more injuries and heartbreak than any other team, we are STILL the best. we will hit a perfect routine and leave nothing on the floor, because we will perform for our hearts; &&our hearts are full of love for each other and ambition. regardless of the outcome today, we truly are winners...

good luck to me and to my amazing family of pghs cheer squad. :)
