tonight, I closed a chapter in my life..
and it was a really hard one to close.
cheering for pleasant grove high school changed my life. I met people and am closer to girls in ways I didn't ever think possible. I'm going to miss it; it was my life... my coach shaped me into who I am, I really will be eternally grateful for her, and for all that she did for me.
Kenzie Gunter, saying goodbye to cheering with her has been one of the hardest things I've done thus far in my life.. 7th grade on I've been cheering with her, and it's going to be so different without her. I love her, and am grateful for EVERYTHING she has done for me. I'm going to miss her...
Brianna dibb, hayley Woolf, sapphire dye, ivory pentelute, Anne doman, Kendra allridge. just to name a few, I will miss them. I will miss cheer.
but tonight, tonight i realized that although byu tryouts didn't go as planned,
I'm not done cheering, I'm not.
tonight my coach, cami, gave me oh! the places you'll go by dr Seuss, and in it it states..
I'm sorry to say so but, sadly it's true that bang-ups and hang-ups can happen to you... NO! that's not for you! with banner flip-flapping once more you'll ride high! oh the places you'll go! there is much fun to be done! there are points to be scored. there are games to be won..
and so,, shutting this chapter has been awfully hard, but im ready to move on,
I'm ready to--as dr Seuss says it--
get on MY way!!
